Chanel M. Mejia, 25, of Methuen, MA, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Born and raised in Methuen, MA, she was the daughter of Shauna McGravey and Frank Sandoval. Chanel was a graduate of Crest Collaborative, Class of 2017.
Chanel was a very fun, loving and empathetic woman. She had great love for music and also her trips to the beach. Family was always number one for her and this includes her cat Henny. Henny was her baby. She loved to travel and also to shop…A LOT !! Chanel has left a great impression with her amazing personality here in the physical world. We will all miss her!
Chanel will be sadly missed by her mother, Shauna McGravey and her fiancé, Shawn Thompson of Methuen, father, Frank Sandoval of Dracut, MA, sister, Evie Mejia and her partner, Ryan Bestor of Methuen, sister, Angel Sandoval of Methuen, brother, Frankie Sandoval of Methuen, grandmother, Karen McGravey-Gajera of Lawrence, MA, and her husband, Naresh Gajera of NH, grandfather, Tim McGravey of Methuen, great grandmother, Malvena Burbank of Lawrence, great grandfather, Francis McGravey of Methuen, uncles, Naresh D. Gajera of Methuen, and Tim McGravey, Jr. of Methuen. Chanel was predeceased by her aunt, Emma McGravey, great grandmother, Sheila McGravey and great grandfather, David Burbank.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA.
