Cecile J. Theberge-McMinniman's Obituary
Cecile J. Theberge-McMinniman, 69, of Georgetown, passed away on July 12, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Maplewood Place in Amesbury. Born on October 17, 1948, to her hardworking parents, the late Oliver and Lillian (Peppin) Theberge, she was raised and educated in Lawrence attending St. Anne’s School and the McIntosh Institute. Later in life, Cecile, who was a friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W. furthered her education to help those struggling with addiction. She worked as a clinician for The Addictions Coach until her retirement. Always a selfless woman, Cecile was very generous with her time and support, always advocating for those who were less fortunate. Cecile touched many lives in many different circles and who truly be loved, cherished, and missed by all.
Cecile is survived by her beloved siblings; her sisters, Pearl Fahlbusch and Carol Geddes of Winter Haven, FL and her brother Oliver Theberge of Ocala, FL, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service for Cecile will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11 AM at Elmwood Cemetery, 110 North Lowell Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend.
