I was a friend of Cathy's when we were kids. I lived not to far from their house on Web st. We went to Mt. Carmel Grammar school. After school I would go to her house and we would watch Dark Shadows. She was a kind and very smart person. My condolences to her family.
I am very sad to learn of Cathy's passing. We worked together for several years at the bank and we were very close for quite a while. We had lost touch many years ago and I am sad that we did. She was always so kind to me. I will miss you Cathy!
Although I am not mentioned in her obituary I am saddened to learn of Cathy's passing. The day she passed is my patron Saint's Feast Day, the apostle Saint Andrew and I pray he brought her comfort. May she rest in peace. Although we were estranged, as is the case with my brother Tom as well, Cathy was always my sister and I loved her. I pray also that before she passed she had the opportunity to forgive me for my wrongs.
I'm so very sorry to just be learning that Cathy passed away. She and I were classmates and good friends at Presentation of Mary. She was actually a graduate of the class of 74 not 73. I was her maid of honor when she married David. I saw her at our 11th class reunion in 85 (we realized no one had organized something for our 10th so we had an 11th!). After that I lost touch with her and tried a few times through the web and other inquiries to find her but I was never successful. Cathy was such a good soul. One of the things I will always remember is that she turned me on to the music of Gordon Lightfoot who she loved so much. In addition to being a good soul, she was soulful. It's nice to see the tributes here from her co-workers. She was definitely an intelligent and kind person.
Cathy was an incredible co-worker. During my years working with her, she taught me so much. She was a human Dictionary. Her memory was so sharp. She put her heart into every file she worked on. I have missed her greatly and only wish I would have told her while she was still with us. My thoughts and prayers are with her and I hope she is at peace.
Cathy was pretty amazing and we have missed her since she could no longer work. She cared so much about everything she worked on and was always willing to go the extra mile for every file. My prayers are with her, may she rest peacefully. Deepest sympathy to the family.
Cathy was a wonderful women. I throughly enjoyed working with her for many years at Eastpointe Mtg. She was very intelligent and always willing to help! She will be missed 🙏🏻💜
