Carol Ann Raineri's Obituary
Carol Ann Raineri, 81, of Lawrence, MA, passed away peacefully at The High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.
Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Rita (Blanchard) Schroeder, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1961.
She worked at the IRS in Andover, MA for 15+ years and also worked for 20+ years at the Lawrence General Hospital in Data Entry.
She enjoyed vacationing in the White Mountains and reading a good, juicy romance novel. She loved to stroll along Bearskin Neck in Rockport, MA on dates with her husband John. They enjoyed sweet treats of saltwater taffy and nonpareils while enjoying the ocean view together. She thoroughly enjoyed most anything she did, especially with her friends and family. A nice walk with someone to share her thoughts with or simply alone while listening to her favorite music. She loved to be outdoors enjoying the weather or just taking a long drive to embrace the beauty of the world around her.
Carol will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Daniel and his wife, Stacy of Derry, NH, daughter, Stacy Raineri-Loreto and her wife, Haidee of Salem, NH, daughter, Cheryl Rainville of Salem, NH, brother, Edward Schroeder and his wife, Barbara of Windham, NH, sister, Susan Wlodyka and her recently departed husband Edward “Gene” Wlodyka of Salem, NH, brother, Neil Schroeder of Salem, NH, grandchildren, Casey, Kelsey, Daniel, Alexandria, Samuel, Maxwell, Sullivan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her husband, John Joseph Raineri and son, Michael John Raineri.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours starting on Tuesday June 25, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. Carol Ann’s Funeral Service will begin at 12 PM in the funeral home, followed by interment at Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N. Lowell St., Methuen, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association @www.alz.org as a tribute in the name of Carol Raineri.
