Carlos Henriquez's Obituary
Carlos Henriquez, a remarkable soul who touched the lives of many, peacefully departed this world on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the age of 91, surrounded by the warmth of his family at the Prescott House in North Andover.
Born to Bacilio Henriquez and Rosa (DeJesus) Henriquez, Carlos carried the spirit of the Dominican Republic with him, displaying his exceptional talent as a barber. After relocating to the United States, he continued as a barber in both San Francisco and the Merrimack Valley until his well-deserved retirement.
Carlos was the devoted husband of the late Juana (Ramos) Henriquez and the loving father of his cherished late daughter, Katilena Rise. He found solace and joy in the company of his surviving children: Gregoria and her husband Silbio, Rosario and his wife Mery, Antonio and his wife Samira, Leo and his wife Dady, Maximo and his wife Deisy, Dioni and her husband Carlos, Jose and his wife Celania, and daughter Rosa Fernandez.
In his leisure, Carlos found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He relished playing dominos, passionately followed baseball as an avid New York Yankees fan, and had a fondness for the art of boxing.
Carlos leaves behind a legacy of love and memories, survived by his siblings, Digna and spouse Bienvenido, Francisca and spouse Moncho, and Samuel . His grandchildren, Kajara, Bene, Mindy, Carlitos, Benniry, Carla, Jordan, Jonathan, Edwin, Kedwin, Jean, Carlos, Louis, Manuel, Dariely, Derek, Wady, Meroly, and Rosemary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, will forever hold him in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carlos's vibrant life on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for visitation, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA 01844.
