Camille A. LoRusso's Obituary
Camille A. (Caldarone) LoRusso, 70 of Dracut, MA, died on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA., due to a long illness. She was the beloved wife of John LoRusso, to whom she was married for 31 years.
Born in Revere, MA on August 27, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Rotondo) Caldarone. Camille worked with the Massachusetts State Department of Public Health/Division of Food & Drugs in Jamaica Plain, as an evidence technician and later as a food & drug coordinator. She also had been a member and secretary of the New England Narcotics Enforcement Officers Association (NENEOA). Camille was a former queen of Elegant Wanderers of the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of other Red Hat Society groups. Camille loved crafts. She enjoyed painting and sewing when she was younger. More recently, she enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting and crocheting. She would crochet hats and mittens for children in need. She was also a member of the Methuen Senior Center, where she quilted with the other members. In her later years, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and baking all types of new recipes from TV cooking shows. Camille loved gardening, enjoying her deck & cottage in summer with her husband John, their parrots, and her beloved Yorkie, Angel.
Camille will be deeply missed by her husband, John, and many friends and family members. She is predeceased by her brother, Albert Caldarone, and parents.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Camille’s life by gathering for her calling hours at the Kenneth H Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 4 - 8 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut, MA on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 9 AM. Guests are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. The Mass will be live streamed at https://youtu.be/KssjELzymlM. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, face masks will be required at the funeral home and the church, and social distancing must be followed. If you have a health or other underlying concern, please do not attend. Camille’s family will understand and respect your decision.
