Basil J. Arasi's Obituary
Basil J. Arasi, age 93 of Lawrence passed away on November 15, 2021. Basil was born in Methuen to the late Carmelo and Agatina Arasi. He was a longtime Union Carpenter with Local 275. Basil enjoyed gardening. He will be remembered as a very hard worker who even built his entire house with his own two hands.
Basil was the father of Anthony Arasi and his wife, Patricia. He was the grandfather of Sara DeFronzo and her husband, Alex, Cassandra Shanley and her husband, Thomas and Jennifer Arasi and her companion, Evan Lavoie and the cherished great grandfather of Layla Shanley. Basil is also survived by his longtime companion, Dottie Kamal.
