Arusyak Kucukistepanoglu's Obituary
Arusyak Kucukistepanoglu, 82, peacefully passed away at her Methuen home, surrounded by her loving family, on August 9, 2019. Arusyak was born on April 14, 1937, in Istanbul, Turkey, and lived in Montreal, Canada, before moving to Methuen in 1985.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Sako, and her two beloved daughters, Katya and Karin, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including Virgine Barsamoglu of Montreal, Agop and Malden Arslanoglu of Methuen, Haygul Rose Stepian of Andover, Avidis and Ovsanna Kucukistipanoglu of Methuen, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded by her brother, Agop Barsamoglu of Montreal. She loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially traveling with them to Disney World, Foxwoods with her husband, and summers at the Cape.
Family and friends will be celebrating her life by gathering for her calling hours on Tuesday, August 13, from 3PM to 7PM, at the Kenneth Pollard Funeral Home at 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, MA. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 14, at 11AM, followed by a burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe at 1280 Boston Road, Haverhill, MA, 01835.
