Arthur W. Lyons II's Obituary
Arthur W. Lyons II “Bill” passed away November 3, 2021 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. Born on September 13, 1940, he was raised in the Merrimack Valley area and educated at Saint John’s Prep in Danvers, MA. He went on to get his bachelor’s degree at Boston College and a master’s degree in Computer Science from West Coast University. In the 1960s, he was an Air Force Captain stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi and Duluth, Minnesota and later continued his career in early computer development. Bill loved the beach, sports, and he loved his family. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters. He was married for 57 years to Elaine (Kudzia) Lyons who passed 3 years ago.
Bill is also survived by his 2 children Arthur “Bill” W. Lyons III and Suzanne C. Lyons. He was the devoted grandfather to his 3 loving grandchildren Jamie, Alex, and Conor and 2 great grandchildren Isabella and Elaina. He is also survived by his siblings; John Lyons, Gerry Lyons, Cindy Lyons, Barby Lyons, and Chris Lyons.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service with military honors will be held at the funeral home immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 12:00 Noon. Internment of ashes will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1 pm at the West Parish Cemetery, 129 Reservation Road, Andover, MA.
