Arthur J. Laflamme's Obituary
Arthur J. Laflamme of North Andover, MA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 11,2023 at the age of 81.He was born on May 26, 1942, and lived his formative years in the Bridgeport, Connecticut area.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Connecticut, his Master’s degree at Rivière College and his Ph.D ABD at Northern Arizona University. Arthur’s career comprised of working in special needs programs and was Program Director of DMH for American Training.
Arthur also worked in private and public education. He counseled at Pine Haven Boys Center (Allenstown, NH) and taught in both Methuen and North Andover school systems. Arthur was a caring man and was a generous teacher. Known for his trademark suspenders and ties.
In his personal time, Art enjoyed family, his pets, antiquing, concerts, and live performances. He participated at many church fairs and antique shows.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Sharon (Braddock) Laflamme; along with their 3 sons and spouses: John T. and Traci Mambro, Scott Mambro and Jay Rivera, and Jeff Mambro.
