Antoinetta DiGennaro's Obituary
HAVERHILL, M.A. - Antoinetta "Toni" DiGennaro, 99, died on August 3, 2011 at the Oxford Nursing Care Center in Haverhill. She formerly lived in Plaistow, N.H. with her nephew, Dennis DiGennaro and his wife, Donna.
She was born in Teano, Italy on July 2, 1912, daughter of Mariano and Lucia (Feroce) DiGennaro. She immigrated to this country in 1920 and was a longtime resident of Lawrence. She worked for the Jo-Gal Shoe Co. of Lawrence as well as waitressing and prep cooking for the former Thatched Roof.
She never married, choosing instead to care for her parents and family. Toni was predeceased by her sister, Gelsomina Gelsomino and her three brothers, Saverio DiGennaro, Frank DiGennaro, and Augustine DiGennaro. She also leaves many grateful nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. followed by a service at 4 pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen , MA.
