Dear Rose I lit a candle for Tony Just wanted to let you know how sorry Iam for your loss. I remember him bring doughnuts to our little get together{ Lemon was my favorite} He had a smile on his face and had a witty sense of humor. Dear Rose and family..I was so saddened to hear of Tony passing from my father, his cousin Tony. While I will always regret not staying in touch with one of the most special people of my childhood, the memories I have of Tony and Rose are as alive today as the days they happened. I remember how my heart would beat a bit faster whenever his Bakery truck or Rose and Tony's car would pull into my families drive way in York.
I was always so excited to see them. Tony was always smiling and encouraging.
My wedding back on 89 would not have happened as wonderfully as it did if not for Tony. He and rose graciously used their RV to transport my wife and her bridesmaids to the church that day. It was a sight to behold and one we still speak of.
I loved that man and will light a candle to honor his memory and promise that the gift he gave me of being my Godfather will be the example I pass on in his name.
He will be missed but never ever forgotten.
