Anna "Terry" Martin's Obituary
Anna “Terry” (Sampson) Martin age 94 of Salisbury and formerly of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2021. Terry was born in Lowell on February 7, 1927 to the late Edward and Beatrice (Methot) Sampson. She was a long time hairdresser. Terry was a former communicant of St. Mary’s Parish. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Terry was the former owner of Melody Beauty Salon of Methuen and Atlantic Waves Beauty Salon of Salisbury. She also formerly owned The Escape Club on Salisbury Beach.
Terry was the beloved wife of the late Adrien J. Martin. She was the devoted mother of James Martin and his wife Susan, Barbara Burns and her husband Robert, Betty Martin, and the late Thomas Martin. Terry is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, 29 Barker St. Lawrence.
