Anibal Garcia's Obituary
Anibal Garcia, 59, of Lawrence passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton. He was born in Canario, Puerto Rico on January 10, 1962 to Carmen (Rivera) Flores and the late Francisco Garcia.
Anibal’s loved being surrounded by his loved ones, most especially with his family.
Family is the one word that truly encompasses Anibal. He was a loving and devoted husband. He and his wife, Patty, were true soul mates and best friends.
He was also a wonderful father. Leading by example, he taught his children about love, kindness, and respect by never speaking an unkind word about others.
Anibal will be remembered as one of the good guys – a humble man, a family man, a kind and brave man, never forgetful of his roots. He enjoyed living a simple life, but anyone who sat in his presence would tell you that there was always a life lesson to be learned there. It is through those lessons and tremendous love that Anibal’s memory will live on in those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was predeceased by his father, Francisco Garcia; and his cherished grandson, Joseph Garcia.
Anibal is survived by his loving wife, Patricia “Patty” Boland; adored children, Zulaika Garcia and her husband, Justin, Glenda Garcia, Anibal Garcia, Jr., Joel Garcia, Isaiah Garcia; grandchildren, Jaiden Garcia, Kayleani Garcia, Elias Garcia, Danthony Garcia, Angelice Garcia, and Stephen Garcia; and siblings, Maria Garcia, Luis Garcia, Leticia Flores, Iris Garcia, Carmen Flores, and Victor Garcia.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 3:00-7:00 PM at Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 7:00 PM. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Garcia Family.
