Angelo DiFruscia's Obituary
Angelo DiFruscia, 92, a longtime resident of Methuen, MA, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
Born in Rocca D'Evandro, Italy on May 12, 1931, Angelo was the beloved son of the late Antonio and Maria Difruscia and the loving brother to the late Rocco DiFruscia, Vincenzo DiFruscia, Rinaldo DiFruscia, Eduardo DiFruscia, Carmela Giovini, Ida Boragine and Gaetana Boragine.
Angelo grew up in Italy, having proudly served in the Italian Army. Shortly after he exited, he married his sweetheart Maria L. (Cardillo) DiFruscia.
Angelo relocated to England and pursued his career in manufacturing and gardening. Angelo proudly took great care of many greenhouses, as a passion, in his spare time.
A few years later, Angelo immigrated with his family to the United States. He continued his work in manufacturing and gardening. In his later years, he spent most of his time taking care of his home and perfecting his vegetable and fruit garden, sharing that joy with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is best described as a kind and peaceful man with a big heart, enjoying any and all time he had with family and friends.
Angelo was predeceased by daughter Maria A. DiFruscia and left behind his devoted wife Maria L. DiFruscia, daughter and son-in-law Francesca and Demetrios Klarakis, grandchildren Antonios Klarakis, Felicia M. Levesque and husband Michael Levesque, Eleni Klarakis, great-grandchildren Zoey R. and Jonah Levesque and many beloved friends and relatives.
Relatives and guests are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Lucy Parish, 254 Merrimack Street in Methuen. Entombment will follow at Eternal Light Memorial Mausoleum in Salem, NH.
