Allen Todd Brown's Obituary
Allen “Todd” Brown
July 13, 1961 – April 3, 2025
Todd Brown, 63, of North Andover, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home in North Andover surrounded by his family.
Todd was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, on July 13, 1961, the son of the late Dennis Brown. He was raised in Baraboo and, after high school, joined the U.S. Navy before working at his family’s business, Baraboo Concrete. He later moved to Texas, where he was a proprietor of a window and car detailer, before relocating to Ft. Lauderdale, where he met and married Michelle Yameen Brown. Together, they moved to Massachusetts to raise their two children, Christian and Kendra, and to be close to Michelle’s family. Todd worked for many years at Butcher Boy Market, where he was a favorite of many customers. After Michelle’s passing in 2016, Todd remarried Stephanie Ortolano in 2019 and became a bonus dad to Darren and Samantha.
Todd had a deep love for cars, boats, and the beach. He loved hosting family barbecues and was a great midwestern-style cook and cooked with lots of butter and cheese. Todd had a deep love for life and was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to lob a zinger every now and then. Above all, he cherished his time with family and his loyal dog, Tucker. He was more than just a father; he was a true best friend.
Todd will be deeply missed by his children, Christian and Kendra Brown, his wife, Stephanie Ortolano Brown, his bonus children, Darren and Samantha Donovan, and his beloved dog, Tucker. He is also survived by his extended family, Darcy (Todd) White, Sandy (Michael) Gavin, Pamela (Rick) Petoscia, and Michelle (George) Dent. He was deeply loved by bonus moms Jarlath Riggs and Sherry Brown. He will be deeply missed by Michelle’s family, including his father-in-law Kenneth Yameen, and his in-laws Pamela, Lisa (Peter) Ash, James (Eileen) Yameen, Andrea (Michael) Vallace, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home in Methuen on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Todd’s memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, https://lls.org/.
