Aline Marie Duncan's Obituary
Aline Marie (Raza) Duncan, 85 of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her home.
Aline was born in Lawrence on May 16, 1937, the daughter of the late Mecleor and Irene (Roy) Raza. She worked as an assembler with Parlex Corporation for over 20 years until her retirement. She was very religious and was a communicant of St. Monica Parish in Methuen. She ensured that her children knew God and love. Aline had a warm and inviting home. She loved to host family social activities at her home. She enjoyed going out to eat but was also a very good cook in her own right. She had a few close friends that were known as the Golden Girls and enjoyed shopping, having tea, and playing cards with them. She was known as a card shark when playing 45’s.
Aline will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Joline Lacroix and her husband, Michael, of Lawrence, Mark Duncan of Methuen, Richard Duncan of Methuen, and Rhonda Calligandes and her husband, Jack, of Manchester; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Lafrance and her husband, Eric, William Audy and his wife, Eve, and Jacob Audy; 2 great grandchildren, Rose Lafrance and Liamena Audy; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter, Valorie Duncan and her 3 brothers, Albert Raza, Roland Raza, and Russell Raza.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Aline’s life by gathering for her calling hours on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 3 – 7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
