Alice B. (Estright) Martin's Obituary
Alice Barbara (Estright) Martin, 90, of Brentwood, NH, former longtime resident of Methuen, passed away on February 10, 2018 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home. Born in Lowell, MA on February 26, 1927 to the late Lloyd and Edna (Prince) Estright, she graduated from Lowell High Scholl with the Class of 1945. Alice married her sweetheart in 1950 and settled in Methuen to raise her family. She and her husband ran the family business Al’s Auto Sales for many years until her retirement. A lifelong devout Catholic, former communicant with St. Theresa’s, Alice was the beloved matriarch of her family.
Alice is survived by her two sons, Albert Martin Jr. and his wife Gail of Raymond, NH and Robert Martin and his wife Debbie of Barrington, NH. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and her ten great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Martin, with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage.
Visitation for Alice will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 9 – 11 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 110 N. Lowell St, Methuen. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is proud to serve the Martin family.
