Our Story

Learn our story, from the beginning and into the future.

Founded in 1953 by Kenneth H. Pollard as the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, our establishment has been a cornerstone of compassionate service in the Merrimack Valley for over 70 years. In 1993, Michael and Maureen Pollard took ownership, continuing the legacy of care and dedication. In 2021, Robert Chase, a fourth-generation Methuen resident, and his wife, Sabrina, proudly purchased the funeral home, renaming it Methuen Family Funeral Home in 2025, continuing to be  family owned  to reflect their commitment to serving families as their own.

Since taking ownership, Rob and Sabrina have made significant renovations and upgrades to enhance the comfort and experience of our client families, both inside and out. These improvements include new air conditioning, fresh carpeting throughout the facility, a new refreshments room, a tranquil trinity water feature, and many other thoughtful updates designed to create a warm and welcoming environment.

At Methuen Family Funeral Home, we understand that losing a loved one—often one of the closest people in your life—is one of the most challenging experiences a person can face. Our experienced and dedicated staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide compassionate support and guidance during this difficult time. We are committed to helping families plan meaningful services that honor the life, memories, values, and accomplishments of their loved ones, tailored to each individual’s needs and wishes.

Serving families across the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire, we strive to create a supportive and comforting experience, ensuring every detail is handled with care and respect. At Methuen Family Funeral Home, we are honored to carry forward our legacy while embracing the future of compassionate service.
