Wendy L. Martin's Obituary
Wendy L. (Houghton) Martin, age 74 of North Andover passed away on June 8, 2018. Wendy was born in Arizona on August 10, 1943 to the late George and Gladys (Taylor) Houghton. She was a graduate of North Andover High School. Wendy was a lifelong resident of North Andover where she attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She worked as an Associate Logistic Analyst at Raytheon for many years.
Wendy is survived by her son James Martin and his wife Patricia of Andover, her loving grandchildren who brought so much joy to her life, Shauna, Colleen, and Fiona Martin, and her dear sister Donna Mielinski and her husband Robert of The Villages, FL.
Wendy was generous to a fault with her family, friends, and numerous charities. She enjoyed family gatherings, trips to Foxwoods, and going to lunch with her friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice to honor Wendy’s generous and charitable spirit.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Ridgewood Cemetery of North Andover.
