Sr. Therese Gilbert's Obituary
Sr. Therese Gilbert, age 86 passed away peacefully on December 19, 2017 at Cedar View Nursing Home of Methuen. Sr. Therese was born in Augusta, ME on February 5, 1931 to the late Joseph and Agathe (Bonefant) Gilbert. She attended St. Augustine Grammar school in Augusta, ME. Sr. Therese worked as a cook and director of a large community kitchen for the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.
Sr. Therese was the dear sister of Joe Gilbert of Augusta, ME. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the St. Claire Residence of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, 206 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of the Presentation of Mary, 206 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA 01844.
