Patricia A. Provencher's Obituary
METHUEN ? Patricia A. Provencher passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday November 2, 2008 at her home in Methuen.
Although having a quiet and gentle nature she fought a courageous battle with cancer for many years. Patricia was born in Lawrence, MA where she spent her childhood years, attending St. Anne?s Grammar School and graduated from Lawrence High School with the Class of 1975. She later moved to Methuen where she resided for her adult life. She was employed by the United States Postal Service in Beverly, MA for the past 15 years.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends but her true joy in her life was her grandsons, Brendan and Jacob. Her life was truly blessed with the proceious moments she spent with them. When hard days arrived they were the gift of sunshine in her life. They will miss their grammy?s loving care and attention.
Patricia was the daughter of the late Robert and Irene Provencher. She will be sadly missed by her only daughter Trista and her companion Keith Joy of Methuen as well as her sister Pauline with whom she lived.
She will also be greatly missed by her brothers Rene and his wife Helen of Londonderry, Conrad and his wife Sharon of Andover, Raymond and his wife Paula of Haverhill, MA, Paul, Gilbert and his companion Elizabeth Gallant , Leonard and his wife Penny all of Derry, NH, Vincent and his wife Marilyn of Methuen, MA and Richard and his wife Lois of Dracut, MA.
She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, who will recall her many Ghostly stories and great spirit. In addition she leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to MVNP-Meals on Wheels 57 River Road Andover, MA 01810. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home.
