I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the Wofendale family. I was a long time neighbor of Frank & Stella. A very nice family.
I Became a Lawrence firefighter on June 1, 1980. Frank's unit at engine 7 was my first assignment. He will always be known to me as a "Good Jake." This term used by the brotherhood on the FDNY to describe well liked and respected firefighter. God bless you Frank!

Bill and family,
I am sorry to hear about your dad - Father Rick made an announcement on Easter Sunday. The Schmitt family sends our deepest condolences and is thinking of you during this time. -Sara Schmitt
Frank was one of the kindest men I ever knew. He had a perpetual smile for everyone, and a great laugh. There was a twinkle in his eyes at all times that I have only seen in his brother, Tom. You never knew what it it was for, but it was going to be fun. I will miss Frank, as will so many others. What a great man.
Very sorry for your loss. Frank was one of the truly special people I ever met.
I didn't have the honor of meeting Frank, may he rest in eternal peace. I did have the honor of serving with his brother Edward in Vietnam. I hold the Wolfendale family in high regard. I'm sure, like Edward, Frank was a very honorable man.
With sincerest condolences,
Jim Smith
This is Lisa - Alicia's other mommy. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Frank was a great man. I will never be able to express the appreciation I have for him and his wife and children for the love and care of Taisha - She is an amazing young woman and that is from the love and caring she got from the Wolfendale family for sure. God makes no mistakes. To Taisha and family -my prayers are with you all at this time. Lisa Bryan
Frank was a wonderful man and a great father. While Taisha was my student he helped out with various projects and events. His sense of humor was fantastic and he passed that in to Taisha. Taisha, I know you will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Janice right now.
