Benjamin A. Parrillo's Obituary
Benjamin A. Parrillo, age 85 of Methuen, Mass passed away on February 27, 2023 at Lawrence General Hospital. Benjamin was born in Lawrence, Mass on March 26, 1937, to the late John and Antonetta (Imondi) Parrillo. He worked for many years as a draftsman and manager at Raytheon. Benjamin was also the former owner of A & B Package Store on Pelham Street in Methuen. For many years, Benjamin was appointed to the Methuen Re-Development Authority. He was a former member of the Methuen Knights of Columbus. Benjamin enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed golfing, tennis, vacationing with his wife and a good cigar.
Benjamin was the beloved husband of Claudette (Bretton) Parrillo. He was the devoted father of Dean Parrillo and his wife Lori, Darren Parrillo and his wife Cheryl, Derek Parrillo, and Claudine Dupere and her husband Norman. Benjamin was the loving grandfather of Derek, Michael, Christopher, Timothy, Amanda, Jenna, Nick, Brandon, Chyanne, the late Kori, the late Cameron and has five great grandchildren.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, immediately following calling hours, beginning promptly at 2:00 PM. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery will take place at a later date.
