Vivian D. Rozzi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Vivian D. Rozzi, 86 of Methuen passed away peacefully on December 1, 2014 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House. Vivian was born on July 4, 1928 in Everett, MA to the late Delphis and Mabel Desrosiers. As a teenager, Vivian was an avid roller skater, often found jitterbugging around the rink. This is where she met her husband of 47 years, Alphonse Rozzi. Vivian was a devoted member of St. Monica?s Parish of Methuen. Being a loving mother was first and foremost, however, after raising three children she went back to work at Digital in Salem, NH. The most important thing in her life was her children. She was a loving person and devoted mother. Vivian was an exceptional caring and giving person to anyone she knew. She would just bring you into her life with a hug and a kiss. She loved to laugh and have her family close with her. Vivian will be missed by many. Vivian was the devoted wife of Alphonse J. Rozzi. She was the loving mother of Judy Souza and her husband Arthur of Methuen, Jane LeMay and her husband Leo of Salem, NH, and John Rozzi and his wife Charlene of Pelham, NH. She was the cherished grandmother of Kelly Steele and Ashley Souza. Vivian was the dear sister of William Desrosiers and his wife Joyce of Haverhill, the late Irene Gagne and the late Delphis Desrosiers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica?s Parish of Methuen. Interment will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen.
