Veronica R. Lannan 83 METHUEN ? Veronica Rita ?Ronnie? (Smith) Lannan 83 of Methuen, died unexpectedly Sunday September 14, 2008 at Lawrence General Hospital. Ronnie was born and educated in Lawrence, she attended the Wetherbee Grammar School and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a bookkeeper for the Arlington Trust Company for many years and retired from the Internal Revenue Service. She leaves her husband of 59 years, William A. Lannan of Methuen. Daughters Judith Murphy and her husband Richard of Brighton, Illinois and Geraldine Lannan of East Hampstead, NH and her fianc� Kent Hauenstein. She was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Lannan Demers. Grandchildren Ann L. Muder of Kansas, her husband Joshua, Ian W. Murphy of Illinois, Erin M. Murphy also of Illinois and Christopher R. Demers of Massachusetts. Great-grandchildren Sydney Muder and Jack Muder. Ronnie will be sadly missed by her family and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: In compliance with Ronnie?s wished all services will be private, with a Memorial Mass at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framigham, MA 01701-9376.
