Thomas J. Donahue Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thomas J. Donahue, 72 of Lawrence, MA, died Tuesday April 3, 2012 at his home in the presence of his loving family. Born and educated in Lawrence, he was the son of Timothy and Marjorie (Louzon) Donahue and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard receiving an honorable discharge. For 18 years he worked at Bolta Products in Lawrence and for 20 years at Raytheon, retiring in 2002. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Patrick?s Church in Lawrence, was an avid golfer and member of Merrimack Golf Club in Methuen. He was a faithful volunteer at Holy Family Hospital for many years. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Virginia (Puglise) Donahue of Lawrence, MA, and is survived by his two sons and one daughter, Thomas J. Donahue and his wife Danielle of Danville, NH, Stephen P. Donahue and his wife Paula of Methuen, MA and Colleen M. Paris and her husband Jeff of Haverhill, MA. Two brothers, Daniel Donahue and his wife Janice of Laconia, NH and Francis E. Donahue of Methuen, MA. Nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Thomas was predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Joanne Noone, Marie Donahue, Katie Parolisi, Redd (Bernard) and Timothy Donahue.
