Theresa O. Boie Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

METHUEN ? Theresa O. (Dube) Boie 88 of Methuen died Sunday January 1, 2012 at Lawrence General Hospital. Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of Ludger and Clairina (Lafond) Dube. She attended St. Anne?s Grammar School and was a graduate of Lawrence High School with the Class of 1944. For 20 years she was employed with Western Electric in North Andover, MA. She was a parishioner of St. Monica?s Church in Methuen and was active at the Methuen Senior Center?s Quilting Club. She enjoyed attending the local art guild meetings with her late husband James, going to the beach and spending time with her family. The widow of James J. Boie, she is survived by her children, Robin T. Grasso and her husband Peter of Lawrence, MA, Gregg J. Boie and his wife Claire of Londonderry, NH, Gary S. Boie and his wife Nashwa of Haverhill, MA and Glenn A. Boie and his wife Elaine of Goffstown, NH. Two sisters Helen Desfosses and Clarina Currier; three brothers Richard, Gerard and Armand Dube. 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00a.m. in St. Monica?s Church in Methuen, MA with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA.
