Susan A. DeChane Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Salem, NH ? Susan A. (Morel) DeChane, 58 yrs. died Sunday at her residence surrounded by her loving family. . Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Leo and Annette (LaCroix) Morel. Susan graduated from college and post graduate medical studies in Central Florida. Susan was an accomplished portrait painter and also sculptured religious statues. She worked as a medical cardio-pulmonary practitioner in West Orange, Florida. Mrs. DeChane was last -employed at Lucent Technologies in North Andover, Ma. Survivors include her husband Robert Arthur DeChane son of the late Robert P. and Betsy (Short) DeChane. Three daughters and three son-in-laws Erica and Jason Crawford of Newton, NH; Tracy and Marc Cloutier of Nashua, NH; and Kori and Richard Al-Hajj U.S. Navy stationed @ La Moore Navy Base, California, 7 grandchildren: Schyler, Shaylee, and Robert Crawford, Holli and Natalie Cloutier, Kyle Joseph and Luke Evan Al-Hajj. One sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Stanley Polchlopek of Kingston, NH. One brother Leonard Morel of Methuen. Several brother and sister-in-laws, Daniel and Joan DeChane; Frank and Sandra Needham; Emile and Shirley Marrott; and Carl Bocash. One God child, Lisa Pochlopek Harty. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. - at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday morning at 9 o?clock in Saint Monica?s Church of Methuen with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
