Ruth M. (Fielding) Driscoll

Ruth M. (Fielding) Driscoll age 91 of North Andover, MA, died Sunday at Academy Manor Nursing Home, Andover, MA, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Esther (Carpenter) Fielding of Lawrence, MA. Ruth was born and raised in Lawrence, MA, and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1943. She was a resident of Andover for 50 years and lived in North Andover for the past 9 years. Ruth retired from the Greater Lawrence Vocational School in 1993. She was a member St. Paul?s Episcopal Church in North Andover. She enjoyed camping with her husband and spending time with her friends and family, especially her three granddaughters, her nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Joseph G. Driscoll, and her sister, Virginia J. (Fielding) Lynch. She is survived by a son, Kevin and his wife Kelly Driscoll of North Andover, MA, and a daughter, Mary Ellen Driscoll also of North Andover, MA She is also survived by her 3 granddaughters whom she cherished, Mackenzie, Grace, and Addison Driscoll of North Andover, MA Ruth also leaves behind her beloved niece Sheila M. Lafond and her husband Robert of Salem, NH and grandniece, Kimberly Midolo, and her children, Kayla and Joseph and grandnephew Jeffrey and his fianc� Jen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of Academy Manor Nursing Home, Andover, for their wonderful care of Ruth during her brief time with them. Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 20th from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 AM at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in Ridgewood, North Andover.
