Rita R. Dunlap Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

LAWRENCE - Rita (Stabile) Dunlap age 93 died Thursday March 19, 2009 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham, MA. Born and educated in Lawrence daughter of Angelo and Rosina (Vetrano) Stabile, she attended Holy Rosary Grammar School and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was employed by many retail stores in the city, as well as the Raytheon Company and retired from Marshalls Business Office in Andover, MA. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish/Holy Rosary Church. Rita Loved her home, enjoyed cooking, sewing and being in the yard with her dog Brian, who was very good company to her. The widow of Joseph J. Dunlap, who passed away on April 20, 1999, she is survived by her children, Rosemarie Fitzgerald of South Lawrence, Joseph L. Dunlap and his wife Mary A. of Seabrook Beach and Florida and Irene F. O'Callaghan and her hsuband Edward L. also of South Lawrence. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Rita was predeceased by her son John Dunlap who died on August 16, 1938 and her grandson Edward L. O'Callaghan, Jr., who died on May 25, 1992. ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials ?. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish/Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence.
