Marian R. DiNoto Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

METHUEN ? Marian R. (Roddy) DiNoto, 84 of Methuen died peacefully Friday April 27, 2012 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen following a brief illness. Born in Dracut, MA, she was the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Cashman) Roddy. For many years she was employed at AT&T, formerly Western Electric and most recently Lucent Technologies in North Andover, MA where she was a member of the Communication Workers of American and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Marian enjoyed family gatherings, all sports and outdoor activities. She volunteered and donated clothing to those in need. Marion belonged to the Greater Lawrence Italian Women?s Club and the Sons of Italy. She leaves her husband of 64 years Sam F. DiNoto of Methuen, MA and is survived by her children, Paul F. DiNoto and his wife Ann of Haverhill, MA, Gail A. DiNoto of Newburyport, MA, Karen A. DiNoto of Cape Coral, FL and Frank P. DiNoto and his companion Bonnie Smith of Danville, NH. One brother Brendan Roddy and his wife Joan of Billerica, MA and two sisters Rita Malo and her husband Roger of Cape Coral, FL and Helene Delisle and her husband Edward of Dracut, MA. One grandson Scott DiNoto of Methuen, MA Many nieces and nephews. Marian was predeceased by her two brothers Arthur and Richard Roddy. ARRANGMENTS: Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2:00p.m. ? 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:00a.m. in St. Francis Church in Dracut with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
