Leo Kraunelis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Leo Kraunelis, 64, of Haverhill, MA passed away unexpectedly on January 5. He was born in Lawrence, MA on November 28, 1949, and was the son of the late Stanley Kraunelis and Sophie (Pitkevitch) Kraunelis. Leo graduated from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass. He was predeceased by his wife, Paula (Petrosino), whom he married in 1974. He and his wife were longtime residents of Methuen. Leo was an employee of the Raytheon Corporation in Andover, Mass., and enjoyed cooking and astrology. Leo is survived by his three children: Jason and his wife, Caroline, of Melrose; Jessica, of Haverhill; and Joshua, of Lowell. In addition to his children, Leo had three grandchildren, Bennett, Rocco, and Kingston; two brothers Donald, of Florida, and the late Alan, of Methuen; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday January 8th from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday January 9th at 11 AM at St Patrick's Church in South Lawrence with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
