Judith A. (Stephens) Wesinger

Judith A. (Stephens) Wesinger, 74, of Methuen, passed away at home surrounded by her devoted family on June 29, 2017. Judith was born on December 20, 1942 to her hardworking parents, Elmer and Esther (Jacobs) Stephens in Winchester, MA. Raised in Bedford, MA she attended Bedford High School and graduated with the Class of 1960. After graduating from high school, Judith married the love of her life, Gene F. Wesinger Sr., and settled in Billerica to raise her family. As a 35-year resident of Billerica, she was a local fixture in the community whose smiling face graced the local Lowell 5 Bank where she worked until her retirement. After retiring from the bank, she and her husband relocated to Methuen to be closer to family. Judith was a very sociable person who devoted much of her free time at the Salem NH Senior Center, where she could be found singing in the choir or participating in the knitting club. She had a love of travelling and spending time on the water with her husband. Judith had a true and deep devotion to her family and was a very generous and kind person. She touched many lives and will fondly be remembered. Judith is survived by her loving daughter, Wendy A. Adams of Methuen, MA, and her five cherished grandchildren; Ashley J. and Ryan D. Adams, and Christopher, Andrew, and Stacey Wesinger. She was the proud great-grandmother to Hadley Sophia Gutch. Judith is also survived by her two brothers; her brother, Donald and his wife Patricia Stephens of Bedford, MA, and her brother, Robert and his wife Sarah Stephens of Manhattan, NY. She is also survived be her sisters-in-law; Rose, Carol, and Brenda Wesinger, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Gene F. Wesinger, Sr, with whom she celebrated 47 years of marriage together. And her son Gene F. Wesinger, Jr. Visitation for Judith will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, 4:00 ? 6:30 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours.
