Jacqueline A. Lawlor

Andover, MA- Jacqueline A. (Degnan) Lawlor, died Wednesday, December 29th, 2010 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born and raised in Lawrence, Jackie was the daughter of James T. and Anna (Larose) Degnan. Jacqueline was a graduate of St. Patrick?s High School in Lawrence. After marrying Edward A. Lawlor in 1968, she moved to Andover where she lived for more then 40 years. For over 20 years Jackie worked as a secretary at Lawrence Gas. She was a lifetime communicant of St. Patrick?s Church and a member of their Ladies Sodality. Jackie was an avid card player and also enjoyed listening to Celtics and Red Sox games on her radio. She was always a shoulder to lean on and enjoyed hearing about all the new things happening in her families lives. Jackie was very close with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The widow of the late Edward A. Lawlor, Jacqueline is survived by her brother, Rev. James F. Degnan, nephews Leonard J. Degnan Jr. and his wife Carla M. of North Andover, James T. Degnan and his companion Kathy Messana of Hampstead, NH, nieces Judith M. Marte and her husband Hippolito of Pembroke Pines, Fl, Nancy E. Bonugli and her husband Jay of Tewksbury and Kathleen M. Degnan of Del Ray Beach, Fl. She is also survived by her sister in-law Margaret A. Degnan-Reid of Andover as well as her beloved grand nieces and nephews, Gina, Kerri, James and his wife Lindsay, Miranda, Elena, Christopher, Meredith, Alexandra and Leonard III and her great-grand niece Ruby Grace. She was pre- deceased by her brother the late Leonard J. Degnan Sr. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, January 3rd from 2-4 p.m. at the Kenneth H. pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick?s Church in Lawrence with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Jacqueline?s name to St. Patrick?s Church 118 South Broadway Lawrence, MA 01843-1493
