Frank DiRusso Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Frank S. DiRusso, 60, of Lynn, passed away after a brief illness on November 21, 2016 at the Northshore Medical Center Union Hospital He was born on June 7, 1956 to Eleanor (Montagna) DiRusso and the late Domiano DiRusso in Somerville, MA. He attended school at Somerville City Schools. After high school, Frank enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Frank worked for many years as a machinist in the automotive industry. Frank is survived by his devoted mother, Eleanor DiRusso of Somerville. He was the father to Angela Smith of Tewksbury, Steven DiRusso of Plymouth, and Jessica DiRusso of Plymouth. Frank was the grandfather to Shauna and Robert Danehy. Frank was the cherished brother to his many siblings, Marie Almas and her husband Carlos of Somerville, Josephine Balcius and her husband Ron of Holbrook, Anthony DiRusso and his wife Judith of Chelsea, Thomas DiRusso and his wife Elizabeth of Natick, Annemarie Powers and her husband Roger of Malden, Chester Stanciu and his wife Tracy of Everett, Daniel Down and his wife Cara of Maine, John Down of Maine, and Michael Down of Malden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Laurie. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2-4 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend. A prayer service and military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of visiting hours. At the family?s request, interment will be held privately at the Bourne National Cemetery.
