Elaine A. Deschene Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

METHUEN ? Elaine A. Deschene, 63 of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a short illness with her family by her side. Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of Anthony and Dorothy (Beck) Grudenski and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Elaine was a secretary for 18 years with New England Neurological and after her retirement worked for Market Basket. Elaine enjoyed gardening, traveling to the beach, taking trips to the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her many pets especially her German Shepherd Hanz. She leaves her husband of 47 years, Gerald J. Deschene of Methuen, MA, and former building commissioner for the City of Methuen, and is survived also by her daughter, Barbara Hannagan of Methuen, MA and her son, Shawn Deschene of Derry, NH. Grandchildren, Danielle and Corey Hannagan and Mattea Deschene; great- grandchildren, Angeliah and John Chivers. Elaine also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.
