METHUEN ? Claire S. (Dearden) May, 87 of Methuen passed away Friday July 5, 2013 at Wingate at Andover. Born and educated in Methuen, she was the daughter of Frederick and Ada (Keithly) Dearden. Claire was the owner of May?s Landing in Methuen and prior to that worked for more than 20 years at Wirth?s Restaurant. Claire was active in the Methuen Senior Center and worked the voting polls in Methuen. The widow of Edward N. May, she is survived by her three children, Edward ?T.J.? May and his wife Mary of Raleigh, NC, David T. May of Derry, NH and Lori M. Fisher and her husband William of Merrimack, NH. One sister, Ellen Brothers of Atkinson, NH; three grandchildren, Britney, William and Bethany Fisher. Several nieces and nephews. Claire was predeceased by her son Barry A. May.
