Carl A. Tearno Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

LACONIA, NH ? Carl Albert Tearno age 65 passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 20, 2009 at the Lakes Region Hospital in Laconia, NH. Born in Lawrence on June 27, 1943, son of the late Thomas D. and M. Ruth (Dronsfield) Tearno, Carl lived most of his life in Methuen, MA. He was a graduate of Tenney High School and Merrimack College. During his career he worked for Bay State Merchants and Merrimack Valley National Banks and was Assistant Treasurer at the American Mutual Insurance Company in Wakefield, MA. He served six years in the U.S. Army Reserve with the 331st General Hospital Unit and was honorably discharge in 1971. He was an active member of the Methuen Company of Minutemen during the Bicentennial period in the 1970?s. He is survived by his children, Laury Cote and her husband Steve of Salem, NH and Carl T. Tearno and his wife Nikki of Meredith, NH; sister Patricia Kassilke and her husband Donald of Fairfax, VA and brother T. Daniel and his wife Kathleen of Vienna, VA;Grandchildren Amanda and Zack Cote and Lily and Gianna Tearno. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arrangements: Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 pm ? 8:00 pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
