Beverly Ann Heaphy

Beverly Ann Heaphy, age 79, of Lawrence passed away on January 25, 2021. Beverly was born in Lawrence on April 14, 1941, to the late Francis Andrew and Clementina (Savinelli) Heaphy. Beverly was the sister of the late JoAnne Brown of Methuen and the late Barbara Wysocki of North Andover. A 1959 graduate of Lawrence High School, Beverly enjoyed a career in payroll and bookkeeping. She worked for many years in the payroll departments of the shoe factories that once lined the Lawrence Canal. When the shoe factories closed, she left Lawrence Maid Footwear to work as a payroll clerk at Lawrence General Hospital, where she retired from in 2006 after over twenty-five years of service. Beverly loved to travel; some of her most beloved trips were those she took to Hawaii, the Greek Islands, Paris, and the Caribbean. In her retirement, Beverly enjoyed her time babysitting her great nieces Gianna and Jenny Grelle and attending their school and sporting events. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and caring for her dog and cats as well as tending to her rose garden. To mourn her loss, Beverly leaves her nieces Debra Richard and husband Michael of Methuen; Lynne Brown, and partner Kevin Wilson of Lawrence; Daria Timpe and husband David of North Andover; Susan Morris of Lawrence; Judy K. Grelle and husband Joseph E. of Methuen; Lisa Wysocki and partner Craig Adams of North Andover and nephew Andrew Wysocki and partner Marie Marr of Salem, NH. She also leaves her great-nieces and nephews Jamie Cassidy, Michael Audette, David Timpe, Ryan Audette, Joseph B. Grelle, John Morris, Derek Timpe, Keenan Morris, Gianna Grelle, T.J. Sheehy and Jenny Grelle, as well as her great-great nieces and nephews Makayla Richard, Maya Richard, Cloe Audette, Amber Audette, Kendra Audette, Austin Audette and Violet Audette and several cousins. In her final years, her life was made simpler by the companionship and assistance of her friends; Makayla Richard, Arthur Scott and family, and William Haddock and Colleen Maher. At the family’s request all services will be private. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to either the Nevins MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, Ma 01844 or High Pointe House c/o Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01843.
