Armen S. Bogosian Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

METHUEN ? Armen S. Bogosian, 83, of Methuen, passed away Saturday August 29, 2015 at the Nevins Nursing and Family Service Center in Methuen with his family by his side. Born in Lawrence, MA, he was the son of Ohan and Siranoush (Sarkisian) Bogosian. Armen was a graduate of Lawrence High School with the Class of 1949. During the Korean Conflict, he served in the U.S. Army, received the Army Occupation Medal in Germany, the National Defense Service Medal and was honorably discharged from service. After completing his military services, Armen continued his education receiving his degree from Harvard and Northeastern University. Before his retirement he was employed for 37 years with the Internal Revenue Service at various locations, including Andover, MA. Armen loved horse racing and owned horses at both Rockingham and Suffolk Downs. He was past president of NESC Federal Credit Union, member of the Sons of Italy and the St. Gregory Armenian Men?s Club. Predeceased by his parents he is survived by two sisters, his twin, Diana Dulgarian of Methuen, MA and V. Elizabeth Moomjian of Fairfield, CT; a niece Linda Baillargeon and her husband David of Methuen, MA, with whom he lived; great-nephew Steven Rinaldo his wife Sarah and his family; a special friend Joyce Tuttle of Florida and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and many close friends. Armen was also predeceased by his brother, Vasken Bogosian. Armen?s family would like to offer a special thank you to the entire staff of Nevins for all their care and comfort to Armen. Memorial contributions can be made in Armen?s name to the Nevins Transitional Care Unit 10 Ingalls Court Methuen, MA 01844. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Tuesday from 4:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844.
