Anne M. Baffo 1928-2011 Methuen, MA ? Anne M. Baffo passed away peacefully on February 14, 2011, at the Halcyon House in Methuen, MA. She was born on September 7, 1928, in Lawrence, MA. the daughter of Peter and Carmela (Rapisarda) Baffo, Anne was a life long resident of Lawrence. After graduating from Lawrence High School, Anne worked at the Marum Knitting Mill before attending Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing. Anne started working at North Shore Babies Hospital before coming to Lawrence General Hospital, where she worked for more than 30 years in the nursery. When she was not at work, Anne?s favorite get-away was Salisbury Beach, where she spent the hours reading and visiting her neighbors her neighbors. She enjoyed traveling and loved bringing her family souvenirs from her trips. Anne was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Samuel. She leaves her brother, Sam (and his wife Henriette) Baffo, of Navarre, Florida, and North Andover, MA. two nieces ? to whom she was extremely devoted ? Mrs Allen W. (Maureen) Coburn, Jr. of Windham, NH and Mrs Peter (Barbara) Gerhardt of Flemington, NJ, two grand nieces Caitlin Coburn of NY, NY and Maura Coburn of Windham, NH and many cousins. The family would especially like to thank the Ardizzone Family and the staff at the Halcyon House for their love and their compassion. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday morning at 11: 30 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Chapel. Friends and family are cordially invited. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
