Alice S. Flint Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Salem, New Hampshire ? Alice S. (Smith) Flint, 81, died Friday October 19, 2007 at Salemhaven Nursing Home surrounded by her loving husband of 61 years Jack L. Flint, formerly of West Hartford, Connecticut and their two daughters and families. She will be deeply missed. Alice was an accomplished golfer, bridge player and was the professional bookkeeper for 35 years at the West Hartford Universalist Unitarian Church prior to her retirement. Born in Crewe, Virginia, Alice was the daughter of the late John and Susan Smith. She is survived by her husband, Jack, and their two daughters and their families Jacalyn and William Carroll of Salem, New Hampshire and Frances and Richard Fay of Newbury, Massachusetts. The Carroll family includes Ryan (wife Kim and daughter Abigail), Jonathan and Jillian. The Fay family includes John and Austin. Mrs. Flint is also survived by her brothers John T. Smith (wife Jan) of Lady Lake, Florida and sisters Cora Mae Simmons of Sandston, Virginia and Bonnie Gibbs (husband Earl) of Burkeville, Virginia. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2: 00PM in the West Hartford Methodist Church in Connecticut. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen, Massachusetts.
